Liability Coverage
Liability coverage is mandatory coverage that any individual who owns and operates a vehicle must obtain. What is liability coverage? Auto liability coverage helps cover the costs of third party bodily injuries and property damage when you are at-fault for an accident. Different limits of liability are available so it is best to speak with your broker about the possibilities.
Collision Coverage
If you are involved in an accident with another vehicle or have damage to your car because you hit a light post, garage door or concrete barrier etc. and you carry collision coverage, the cost to repair your vehicle would be covered under the collision section of your policy. **Please note you are responsible for paying your collision deductible. Collision coverage is an optional however if you finance or lease your vehicle it is likely a requirement that you carry this coverage.
Comprehensive Coverage
May cover other losses not insured by the collision section of your policy. Examples include: hail, fire, vandalism, theft/attempted theft, falling object etc. **Please note you are responsible for paying your comprehensive deductible. Comprehensive coverage is optional however if you finance or lease your vehicle it is likely a requirement that you carry this coverage.

What to do when you are involved in an accident?
Being involved in an accident can be a very stressful event.
To help you protect both yourself and your interests, we have provided some basic hints:
Record details of the accident including date, time, location, a description of the accident, any injuries, and any charges laid.
Obtain witness contact info if possible.
Record details concerning the other party and vehicle such as owner's name and address, phone number, and vehicle year, make and model.
It is very important to obtain the insurance information of the other driver. This includes the name of the insurance company and the policy number and the name of the broker or agent.
Obtain a copy of the police report from the attending officer as this will have the accident report number for future reference.
